Types of Doctrine in Scripture

A survey to share on this.

Moses' doctrine (Deut. 32:2) [a prophetic song; first canonical use]
Job's doctrine (Job 11:4) [first chronological use]
good doctrine (Prov. 4:2; 1 Tim. 4:6)
Christ's doctrine (Mt. 7:28)
doctrine of the Pharisees and Sadducees (Mt. 16:11)
God's doctrine (John 7:17)
apostles' doctrine (Acts 2:42)
gospel doctrine (Rom. 6:17)
doctrines of men (Col. 2:22)
doctrines of devils (1 Tim. 4:1)
doctrine which is according to godliness (1 Tim. 6:3)
my (Paul's) doctrine (2 Tim. 3:10; Rom. 16:17)
sound doctrine (2 Tim. 4:3 etc.)
doctrine of Christ (Heb. 6:1; 2 John 9-10)
doctrine of baptisms (Heb. 6:2)
divers and strange doctrines (Heb. 13:9)
doctrine of Balaam (Rev. 2:14)
doctrine of the Nicolaitanes (Rev. 2:15)
Jezebel's (Satanic) doctrine (Rev. 2:24) [last canonical use]

Doctrine spans the entire canon (Deut.-Rev.), most of the dispensations, and the oldest book (Job) to the last (2 Tim. or Rev., depending on your position). So why would anyone say that it's not important?

Your brother in Christ,
David Jared
1 Tim. 4:13, 16
